The SA‐3AR cuts foam blocks on a conveyor surface with a two‐directional rotating knife head. Capable of 90˚ turns, the knife can trim all four sides of the block, as well as divide the block up into smaller pieces, all without manual operators to rotate or move the material (add an optional compression roller for maximum material stability). The SA-3VTS trimming station consists of four cutting units and a conveyor base to move the foam block forward and backward through the machine. Two cutting units trim away foam skin on two sides, then the top of the block.
